PEP RALLY !!!!
PEP RALLY !!!!
Homecoming and Spirit Week were set off with a big boom as seniors showed their spirit at Friday's pep rally. The excited enthusiasm of the Senior Class contributed to an overwhelming response from other classes, but the seniors won the spirit contest, with a flourish of streamers and helium-filled balloons.

The graduating class of 1985 had shown tremendous spirit throughout their four years at Socastee. In their sophomore year they won three out of eight pep rallies, and continued the trend into their junior year to capture six out of eight.

Many faculty members and underclassmen commented that the class of 1985 was one of the most spirited Senior Classes to ever hit Socastee.

It was a cold Thursday night in November, but the freezing temperatures did not discourage the female footballers from putting on a good show at the Powder Puff Football Game.

Since the girls were the football players, the guys had to be the cheerleaders. They did everything from line dances to pyramids to keep the spirit alive!
